The official Châtelet auction programme is published between 3 and 4 weeks before each auction session.
Advertisements are also placed in the main national newspapers (under the property classifieds section) a few days before the property visits.
A sign is usually attached to the property. All real estate properties can be sold by auction : flats, rooms, houses, castles, rural land or building sites, buildings, offices, commercial premises, industrial premises, and this is regardless of their size, their location within the national territory, their type, their allotment or their purpose (housing, commerce, industry) and irrespective of the rights that are attached thereto (bare ownership or life estate).
A detailed presentation is available for each property : the advertisement indicates the precise location of the property, its description, the fixed price amount, the dates and visits organised to the property as well as the contact details of the notary in charge of the sale. Our advertisements are combined per auction session and our auctions are organised on Tuesdays, other than during the Paris school holidays.
